I am very proud of our outstanding pupils, their wide-ranging achievements and the desire of all those at the school to reach their full potential.

Ysgol Greenhill is a rapidly improving school which has high expectations and aspirations for all pupils and staff supporting and teaching them. Our improvement journey has been recognised by our recent Estyn inspection and I am proud of the care and support we provide for all pupils.

Our academic curriculum provides students with a pathway to Russell Group Universities, a range of further education establishments, together with quality work-based training and apprenticeships. In addition to studying more traditional subjects, we have recently widened our offer at KS4 and KS5 to include courses such as criminology, engineering, performing arts and a level two qualification in personal growth and wellbeing.

As Headteacher I will not be satisfied until we are recognised amongst the best schools in Wales, and I very much look forward to working with you and the wider community over the coming years in order to achieve this for our pupils.

Leaders have been working tirelessly to transform the school so that it provides the young people it serves with the best possible teaching and learning experience. Those who visit remark on the calm and purposeful lessons and the dedication of our staff. We are proud of what we have achieved.

Our vision at Ysgol Greenhill is that we do whatever it takes to ensure every pupil achieves their full potential in a caring, kind, inclusive and happy environment. We expect our pupils and everyone associated with the school to take pride in our badge and always exemplify our Ysgol Greenhill values. We are an inclusive, community school with a focus on academic rigour, high quality teaching and learning.
